Mr. Scott is an associate of Osborne, Helman, Knebel & Deleery, L.L.P. and practices primarily in the areas of probate and fiduciary litigation involving executors, trustees, attorneys, and other fiduciaries. He also represents parties on both sides of the docket in will contests, guardianships, and estate and probate planning issues. Additionally, Mr. Scott represents charitable organizations in a wide variety of controversies and has experience in construction and commercial litigation, including representing individuals, governmental entities, and businesses in contract disputes, breach of fiduciary duty cases, fraud and misrepresentation claims, and insurance coverage disputes.
Mr. Scott served as law clerk to the Honorable Felix Recio, United States Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Texas, Brownsville Division, before joining Osborne, Helman, Knebel & Deleery. While clerking for Judge Recio, Mr. Scott also acted as adjunct professor of business law at the University of Texas at Brownsville.
